MEC Toronto Paddlefest is coming around again - June 12-14, 2009!

It has morphed into a giant paddling festival with no signs of slowing down, and this year is back, of course, with just as much gusto as the years prior. That's right, Paddlefest, the Toronto paddling festival hosted by MEC, with support from the City of Toronto brings together all sorts of paddlers: kayakers, canoers, dragonboaters, you name it!

I've photographed this event for MEC for the past 3 years and it proves to be a lot of fun each time. you can check out a lot of my paddling photography HERE on my Website.

If you haven't been to one yet, make sure you mark your calendars as the courses and instruction offered are superb, and rival anything you will find in North America. It's the who's who of paddling in North America, including: Justine Curgenven, Dubside, Michael Pardy, Bob Foote, Karen Knight, and Kevin Callan.
Also, check out the MEC Paddlefest site, and look up the event on Facebook as well and search for Paddlefest. See you there!

Working on "Work" but the Rest is "Up"

Well as "they" say the times are achangin'. And that means it's time for your friend Kambo to get himself a blog (yes, the times have caught up with me) - now that you've found it - Welcome! This is it. Simple, understated, but packin'... kinda like yours truly. Moving on...

This exists to entice you to keep coming back and checking out my portfolio site, but also to keep you up to date on all my roamings. Yes, yes, just back from Idaho and missing it mucho, especially the skiing. Soon dogsledding in Algonquin Park and photos from all that fun and skiing.

Hello to all of you I met out west, and don't be strangers, look me up on "myface" and say hello.

I'll speak to you soon.
